What are the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis?
Exposure to
Stachybotrys and Chaetomium can destroy the myelin sheath. Many
patients exhibit unexplained cognitive problems and it is suggested that
they be tested with an MRI or spinal tap to explore the chance of MS as
it has become increasingly common among mold patients who have been
experienced with the to afore mentioned mold. Although these
symptoms can also mean other things, it is important to see a physician
who is knowledgeable in fungal disease to be able to effectively
diagnose, treat, and follow-up on any symptoms that you might have.
The below mentioned symptoms are not an indication that you may be
suffering from MS.
The central nervous system (CNS) controls much of the body's
functioning and much of this activity passes through the white matter at
some point. It is not surprising, therefore, that a disease which
damages white matter can produce a very wide range of symptoms. Indeed,
there are few diseases with more potential symptoms than multiple
sclerosis.
These symptoms are disseminated into these four groupings: Visual,
Motor, Sensory, Coordination and Balance, Bowel, Bladder and Sexual,
Cognitive and Others. Please remember that most people with MS won't get
most of these symptoms and the ones that seem the most terrifying
usually only manifest themselves in the later stages of the disease. It
is important to be diagnosed as soon as possible should you suspect MS
as early intervention is extremely important. |
